Describe yourself

Problems: I solve them. Consider myself a very analytical person, questioning the systems and processes that go on in the world around me, and figuring out how they can be optimized. Maybe that’s why I’m an econ and math major here at Northwestern. More than anything, I like creating something from nothing. I’m a huge proponent of reinventing the wheel. Though I realize that may sound like a contradiction, considering I mentioned being a fan of optimization. But in the end, I like breaking things down into the bare fundamentals, figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and using those discoveries and insights to build something better. Enough of the vague descriptions though. It probably goes without saying that I’m a big operations guy. As Director of Operations for BoxCo., a Northwestern-based storage and shipping startup, I led an operations team in the design, implementation, and iteration of operations for the company. As an associate at Moneythink, a Chicago-based financial literacy startup, I consulted the organization on issues of strategy, customer relationship management, and the planning of the organization’s inaugural Summer Leadership Institute. I try to thrust myself into as many entrepreneurial scenes as possible. I’m a proud member of Northwestern Student Holdings, a student-run ventured fund, a participant (though Moneythink) in inaugural Accelerator program at the Booth School of Business, and frequently attend Startup Bootcamp and Lean Startup events. Above all else, I’m passionate. I know that word is often thrown around very loosely, but my passion is what drives me. I don’t quit or deter myself until I’ve finished what I’ve started. Until I do what I set out to do. Until I develop a solution that I can proudly and confidently stand behind.

Reason here:   Build a company

I am interested in NUvention Web
